TRASHCANPUNCH has been putting out some quality exclusives/leaks for a good bit of year now – and im always impressed with the selection and quality of their posts. for example – the latest mix they put up, “RAMBO DUCK“, has been blowing my wig back for the entire day.
I’ve listened to it three times almost. hahaha.
They have been posting a whole lot of dubstep lately – but they dont slouch on other notable genres – like this recent DnB selection.
anyway – if you’ve never been there – i highly suggest it.

Indentondance day was a huge success thanks to the hard work put in by ETC ETC, WSJR, WMO2, and me yeahdef. also – the biggest thank yous go out the performers who really gave an exceptional show, and even revealed few new jams for us all. above is a very roughly edited mash of the performances (minus orange coax, who wrecked shop on the floor: ie – no lighting). also, if you are interested in the results from the photobooth manned by Marcus + Jennifer Webb click the read more link after the image:

I really like crazy basslines. In the past few months ive been obsessed with anything flip floppin around in the lower frequency. I met some lady a smokin babe angelique tege @ the star trek screener last night and she was like “oh you are a dj – you like that mashup stuff right”. Man, i get taht a bunch – like my sister emailed me the other day asking if i had heard of this “Girl Talk” guy. I think everyone who is like, on the outside of this stuff, is 2 years behind. idk – i told angelique I would make a post about what this wiggle worm bass stuff is about. so here is some good tracks yo:

Kelevra remix of Electric Soulside – good vocal samples cuttin. I think Kelevra kinda sounds like a wobbly way to spell Klever / maybe its an alter-ego of Klever? that would be epic. I used to think it would be awesome if secretly Daft Punk were also the dudes from Air.

I dont post random hype tracks usually – just when something comes along that makes me think twice or blows back my brain stem or something. This is one of those. I mean – Justice – the behemoth. Yes they are played out, yes – a little stalefish, but man they are still incredible! stuff like this just makes me glad to know that they will be around a really long time. Their U2 remix was pretty rad as well!

I’m a firm believer in transparancy. So here we go – me and jason’s wednesdays have not been as epic as they once were. IDK if everyone is too busy with early morning thursday paper routes or what – but it kinda fell off. but heres the deal, you really dont want to miss out on tonight. Kronos approached me with the idea of branching electronic music into a kind of genre sampler night. so no matter what you are into, there will be a way to get down tonight. i really dont think you are going to want to miss my set, which i am biased about – but its going to be the best thing to ever exist on earth. if you hate 8bit / chip / sidtunes – please cover your ears cause my chiptune set is going to blow out some brain stems.
