Is yo face fresh?

Hello New Year. How are you? My name is joey and i made this show to kick you off with.

I think everybody and their baby sister’s cousins are coming to this show. Not hard to see why though – people are always starved for fresh new talented musicians.  The booking/promotion kinda fell in my lap after Matthew Gray had a band pull out last minute – so he handed the date over to me.  Thanks Mr Gray, I owe you one.  Dan’s is a great venue and I’m super jazzed about setting up my first show there – i think it will be a resounding success.

Speaking of resounding, the reverberations coming from Dan’s may just be enough to cause local eatery “Fuzzy’s Tacos” complications whilst preparing a batch during Kampfgrounds‘ set.  My good friend Tom (not the myspace tom) is in that band.  He’s an A+ homie.

Peopleodian rock a nintendo DS and drums and a singer. eclectic is overused, but i think it fits them perfectly.  Their melodies are great. Hard to get a grasp on how they sound live from the songs they’ve posted online – but trust me – its quite enjoyable.

Final Club is opening up the show.  Its their very first live show. local home slice Austin Swann is in the band.  he’s been an age old homie who has stood the test of time. i can remember throwing back quite a few tallboys with that particular tall boy. knock em dead swann.

ill be djing songs in between and after. just rad little tunes that i think will fit the mood. see ya @ 9!

oh yeah and its only ONE DOLLAR if you are over 21.
